Do I get free gear

As part of the designation of being the only Tier I junior hockey league in the nation, the USHL provides all equipment for each player – “head to toe” – which is paid for by the team. This isn’t just any equipment, it is the same gear hanging in NHL locker rooms

The USHL has a long-standing partnership with Reebok/CCM, allowing USHL teams to outfit players in the latest and highest quality equipment on the market. It is an elite league with elite players, so the USHL makes sure the equipment matches that level.

In addition to on-ice equipment, players are outfitted in team issued off-ice gear – workout clothes, travel sweat suits, and more.

The USHL is the “big time” and the players are treated as such.
