Sioux Falls Stampede defenseman Evan Moore has committed to play college hockey at Robert Morris University beginning this fall.

The native of Grosse Pointe, Michigan recorded seven points (1g, 6a) in 55 games for the Stampede this past season.  He scored his lone USHL goal in the 4-3 victory over Sioux City on January 18th, one month before celebrating his 20th birthday.

Robert Morris University is a NCAA Division I school located in Moon Township, Pennsylvania and is a member of the Atlantic Hockey Conference.  Three USHL alumni were on the Colonials roster this season; Brandon Blandina (Indiana Ice), Andrew Blazek (Des Moines Buccaneers), and Ron Cramer (Indiana Ice).

The Colonials are coached by Derek Schooley who played in the USHL for the Omaha Lancers during the 1989-90 season.
