USHL.com spoke with Dmitry Efimov who is the Managing Director of the MHL (Russia junior hockey league) and the lead organizer for the Junior Club World Cup. He discusses the creation of the of the tournament, its value to junior hockey, and the importance of having the USHL compete at the event.
The Waterloo Black Hawks were the first USHL team to participate in the Junior Club World Cup and recently captured the silver medal at the 2012 tournament.
